LET’S GET CRAZY! Bubble Gum, Tropical Fruit, and Pomegranate-Grape Flavored Apples

Apples.  Such an easy & convenient fresh fruit for all of us to enjoy as we rush around in our minivans… ok, maybe you are a little minx like my hairdresser & have a carseat in the backseat of your convertible.   It doesn’t really matter if you have a sports car or the dented up minivan.  We can all agree – our life is chaos.  The vehicle just navigates us through the chaos.  I sometimes amaze myself at what I accomplish on any given day.  We are all supermoms.

With our busy lives, supermoms must be prepared.  I have said it before, my van is a pantry on wheels.  It has to be!  The minute I cannot provide the boys with some sort of snack on demand is the minute I’m forced to grab something on the road.  Which means I’m setting myself up for failure and/or a fight:

“Joe, let’s get a fruit & yogurt parfait instead of french fries.”  Yeah. right.  Nice try, Produce Mom.

Not to mention the fact that I also want to eat fries.  So then it’s a personal battle, too:  “I can’t eat fast food -I’m sick of my double chin… Maybe just 1 or 2 fries wouldn’t hurt.”  Yeah. right again, Produce Mom.

Our lives are stressful.  Let’s eliminate the stress and battles that are unnecessary.  The fast food world is something I have nearly eliminated from our lives since becoming The Produce Mom.  It took about a month before my kids quit having fits every time we drove by a fast food restaurant – no change is easy, especially lifestyle change, but they (and you) will get used to it.  Now I have a stash of healthy & wholesome snacks in my car & in my purse.  I pack lunches for long car rides.  And here’s a biggie…. I QUIT REWARDING MY KIDS WITH FOOD.  If you do this, you need to stop!  It makes me cringe when I hear people offer up a trip to McD’s in exchange for their child’s cooperation or good behavior.  Food is not a reward.   Especially unhealthy fast food!  How about some time outside working with dad’s tools, being able to wear a favorite necklace from mom’s jewelry box, or one of Joe & Mac’s favorites… a trip to the grocery store to pick out some favorite fresh foods and spending time with mom to help cook dinner.   Plus, you want to look better in your jeans – don’t set yourself up for torture or failure by going through a drive-thru with your children.

Apples are the perfect healthy choice for your snack stash.  Keep some in the car, in your purse, the diaper bag, etc. They are affordable, they don’t require refrigeration, and they are satisfying.  With all the different varieties on the market- there really is an apple for everyone!   Sage Fruit did all us busy moms a favor when they discovered Crazy Apples.  These apples are all natural and flavored.  No added sugars, GMO free, same nutrition as a regular apple.  Crazy apples simply offer some excitement to the commonplace fruit.  And, they are the perfect size for children or snacking.

My kids love them, my friends’ kids love them & I’m sure yours will, too.  You must act now, though!  The season is coming to a close & Crazy Apples will only be available for about another month.  Don’t worry, they will be back in the fall… and we will do another promotion then… but for now – GET ‘EM WHILE THEY LAST!

To celebrate another successful season of Crazy Apples & to help this season end with a BANG – Sage Fruit has partnered with The Produce Mom – Let’s get CRAZY together & let’s reward another Produce Mom fan!
