Ode To Working Moms…
This blog is for the woman…
…Who sets her alarm for 4:45am.
…Who arrives at her morning meeting with a drool stain on her shoulder.
…Who rarely, if ever, is able to volunteer in her child’s classroom.
…Who still needs her mom.
…Who hides at work to cry because her day is so miserable and she is sacrificing so much to be there.
…Who feels under-paid, under-appreciated and under-utilized.
…Who gets annoyed when others gripe about their busy schedule.
…Who makes time for her girlfriends.
…Who can never keep up with the laundry.
…Who feels defeated when her child is the last one to be picked up at school.
…Who only uses sick days on the mornings when her child awakes with a fever.
…Who listens to co-workers talk about frivolous expenditures while she stresses about how to pay for this month’s daycare tuition.
…Who always wants to lose weight.
…Who can be at peace with staying in pajamas all day on a Saturday with her children.
…Who couldn’t do her job without her husband’s support.
…Who has high expectations of her child’s educators.
…Who chooses family night over date night.
…Who sets goals. And exceeds them.
We are amazing.
xoxo Produce Mom
